The ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently. Capable of maintaining quality control by monitoring production output. Ability to identify any issues with the product or process. Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned Following all safety procedures and guidelines along with assisting in modifying and updating procedures Operating a forklift for various functions. This job requires the operator to lift bags, weighing a maximum of 55 lbs. out of a transfer wagon and stage them on the charge conveyor three to five feet away. The operator will need to manually adjust the location of the bale on the conveyor. The position requires repetitive motion sweeping and scarping the mixer. Requires the operator to communicate with the additional staff member. Responsible for operation of the Mixer, Skid unloader, Bale Cutter, Weigh Conveyor and Charge conveyor. Following production schedule and maintaining pace as outlined in mixing procedures. Assist in establishing and maintaining compound processing procedures. Fill out any applicable paperwork. Empty oil buckets on the mezzanine. Assist in staging and organizing raw materials. Keep work area clean.

Requirements

One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment
High School or GED preferred
Willing to work overtime including weekends
Close visual work required
Knowledge of general computer skills
Attention to detail
Strong mechanical aptitude
The ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently
Ability to identify any issues with the product or process
