About The Position

The Mitigation Virtual Estimator prepares mitigation estimates remotely using photos, moisture maps, reports, and scope notes provided by field teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years mitigation estimating experience
• Advanced Xactimate skills
• Strong understanding of mitigation processes
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• High level of accountability and follow-through
• Strong documentation and communication habits
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, insurance-driven environment
• Respect for processes, timelines, and quality standards

Responsibilities

• Write mitigation estimates remotely using Xactimate
• Review documentation for completeness and accuracy
• Apply correct line items based on category and class of loss
• Communicate with project managers to clarify scope
• Revise estimates based on adjuster feedback
• Track estimate approvals and documentation
