The Role: As a Mitigation Technician, you will play a crucial role in restoring properties affected by fire, water, and other emergencies. Your responsibilities will include handling the mitigation and restoration process, making a significant impact on the lives of our clients during challenging times.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years of experience in the restoration industry preferred.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Basic knowledge of construction and repair techniques.
Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
Willingness to work on-call for emergency services.

Nice To Haves

IICRC certification in water, fire, and mold restoration is a plus.

Responsibilities

Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency calls. Evaluate the severity of damage and determine the necessary resources and equipment.
Damage Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of damaged properties, noting structural and content impact. Document damage through photos, diagrams, and written descriptions.
Mitigation Services: Perform water extraction, drying, and dehumidification services following industry standards. Execute fire damage mitigation, including soot and smoke removal. Apply anti-microbial treatments.
Customer Communication: Communicate effectively with customers, explaining the mitigation and restoration process. Address customer concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all restoration projects, including time logs, expense reports, and customer communication. Report project progress to Emergency Services Project Manager.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure proper maintenance and handling of restoration equipment and tools. Report any equipment malfunction or need for repairs to the supervisor.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all company and OSHA safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Participate in safety training sessions and stay updated on industry safety standards.
