About The Position
This is a regular student technical position in which the student will work as a Scene Shop, Costume Shop, Lighting Shop, Sound Shop or Mitchell Hall Stage Crew student assistant. Mitchell Hall Theatre showcases the Theatre, Musical Theatre, Dance, Opera, and Vocal and Instrumental Music performances for the College of Fine Arts and Design. Student employees at Mitchell Hall Theatre support various production aspects through their work in the Scene Shop, Costume Shop, Lighting Shop, Sound Shop, and as part of the Stage Crew. They assist with set construction, costume preparation, lighting and sound setup, and backstage operations, ensuring the smooth execution of theatre productions. These roles provide hands-on experience in theatre production and technical skills development.
