About The Position

Your role will be in the Maneuver Dominance and Operational Analysis teams at Anduril. We are working on cutting edge complex systems that operate in dynamic environments with many interactive manned and unmanned autonomous vehicles.. You will be part of a team building and refining an Augmented Reality Visualizations and Wargaming capability running on Anduril's proprietary simulation and gaming engines to communicate a tactically accurate vision of future warfare, showcasing the Anduril advantage. You will become a modeling and simulation subject matter expert who will interface with stakeholders including internal programs and external customers. You will carefully listen to stakeholder needs and intentions and convert these into choreographed mission simulations to display under AR.

Requirements

Bachelor degree in computer science, engineering, math, or related
Proficiency coding in Python
Outstanding communication skills to include visual presentation of complex data and communicating technical details to a non-technical audience
Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance

Nice To Haves

Military mission M&S experience. For example, working knowledge of ISR, SEAD/DEAD, Electronic Attack, Long Range Fires, Direct Fires, or Indirect Fires missions
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Top Secret security clearance
Platform M&S experience- for example, aero, fuel, and signature modeling
Payload M&S experience- for example, radar, EOIR, communications, or weapons payloads.
Familiarity with behavior trees and/or finite state machines
2+ years AFSIM scripting experience
2+ years in relevant Science and/or Engineering related field; relevant academic experience (BSc., MSc. Phd) qualifies
Exceptional proficiency coding in Python

Responsibilities

Develop enemy and friendly orders of battle and models of vehicles and mission systems within Anduril's mission simulation framework at varying levels of fidelity.
Develop new entity behavior models within Anduril's mission simulation framework and at times, incorporate Anduril's mission autonomy algorithms into the simulation.
Develop a deep understanding of the transformational value of Anduril platform, autonomy, simulation, and perception products and visually communicate that to clients and C-Suite leadership
Use our advanced internal M&S capabilities to showcase an asymmetric advantage over competitors
Convey the value through life of AI-powered distributed systems over traditional industrial offerings
