About The Position

This position provides work alongside leadership and support to a team whose responsibilities include advocacy, and support to individuals with disabilities and disadvantaging conditions so they may achieve their highest level of employment. Direct client support and supervision of a drop-in service office to be included in the scope of work.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with employers and businesses through regular contact, which includes cold calls to meet established weekly/monthly quotas for employer contacts.
  • Provide support services directly to clients seeking work or participation in a program providing foundational supports leading to sustainable employment.
  • Support and supervise the keeping of up-to-date client and community partner information
  • Understand and abide by funding source contractual regulations, requirements, policies, and procedures.
  • Actively engage in the development of a commendable workgroup utilizing agency human resource development protocols.
  • Direct the work of your team in a kind, clear and predictable manner while serving as the manager on duty at the site.
  • Evaluate the work of staff to ensure that programs are of appropriate quality and that resources are used effectively.
  • Assist in preparation and maintenance of records and reports such as budgets, personnel records and training manuals.
  • Monitor and complete timekeeping tasks in an accurate and timely manner following agency protocols to include but not limited to timecard annotation, leave request completion, schedule posting etc.
  • Keep current on job trends, industry labor market reports, position openings, and job fairs; communicate those opportunities to clients as well as the rest of the Mission Services team.
