About The Position

Specializing in cutting-edge treatment while maintaining a conservative approach, we're dedicated to delivering exceptional care to our patients. GSO is currently seeking a dedicated individual to take on the role of Care Coordinator. As a Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for serving as the primary point of contact for patients throughout their care journey, as well as for external referral sources. This will involve ensuring seamless communication and coordination between our practice, patients, and referral sources. We are looking for candidates with a passion for patient care and a knack for organization. While experience in a medical setting is beneficial, we prioritize candidates who exhibit compassion and attention to detail. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred, but not required.

Requirements

• High School diploma or greater
• 3+ years of medical office experience or the equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated skills in collaboration, teamwork, and problem-solving to achieve goals.
• Demonstrated skills in written and verbal communication and listening.
• Demonstrated skills in providing excellent service to customers.
• A high level of integrity and trust-ability to keep information confidential.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Processing referrals as generated by our providers.
• Work with third-party payers to obtain authorization for procedures.
• Being the liaison between the third-party payers, the patient, and our clinical staff
• Upkeep daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Schedule clinic visits and specialty procedures
• Work collaboratively within group email boxes.
• Answer the phones.
