About The Position

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Mission Leader to join our team and drive the development and deployment of advanced power electronics and energy systems. The successful candidate will have a strong background in power electronics and electrical engineering, as well as experience in research and development, team leadership, and collaboration with government agencies, national labs, and industry partners.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• At least 10 years of experience in power electronics and electrical engineering, including experience in research and development, team leadership, and collaboration with government agencies, national labs, and industry partners
• Strong knowledge of power electronics and electrical engineering, including experience with advanced technologies such as wide bandgap devices and high-power converters
• Experience managing large budgets and leading teams of engineers and researchers
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with government agencies, national labs, and industry partners
• Strong business development and partnership-building skills, with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships

• Knowledge of industry trends and developments in power electronics and electrical engineering, including experience with emerging technologies such as electric vehicles and renewable energy systems
• Experience with project management tools and techniques, including experience with agile development methodologies
• Experience working with government agencies, national labs, and industry partners to advance the state-of-the-art in power electronics and electrical engineering
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams of engineers and researchers to achieve project goals and objectives

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and deployment of advanced power electronics and energy systems, including the design, testing, and validation of new technologies
• Collaborate with government agencies, national labs, and industry partners to advance the state-of-the-art in power electronics and electrical engineering
• Manage and mentor teams of engineers and researchers to achieve project goals and objectives
• Develop and manage large budgets to support project activities
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships to drive growth and innovation
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in power electronics and electrical engineering, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our products and services
