About The Position

In the Production Supervisor role, you will manage the switchboard assembly operations at Mission Critical to produce product aligned with our engineering design specifications, quality standards, customer service goals, and profitability. You will effectively communicate and work with all levels of plant personnel to complete your job function and meet safety, quality and productivity goals. You will work directly with production team members to provide direction on daily tasks You will ensure that production demands are met by your department You will work to solve daily problems (such as engineering, quality, etc.) You will contribute to a safe, engaged, and inclusive work culture by ensuring you and your team comply with all policies, including proper use of personal protective equipment and operation of equipment You will foster positive employee relations with direct reports and key stakeholders You will serve as a central point of contact for management in regard to production issues in one's functional area You will participate in the assessment, selection, training, coaching and development of employees and foster strong employee performance You will manage time records via Kronos to monitor productivity and work performance within the team Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, reach at or above shoulder level, grip, and use hands to handle and feel. The employee is frequently required to stoop, lift, carry, push, pull, and grip. The employee is frequently required to lift/carry up to 35 pounds and to push/pull up to or greater than 35 pounds with or without accommodation. The vision requirements include far and close vision with depth perception and color discrimination. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to communicate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution OR minimum 10 years manufacturing experience with high school diploma
  • Minimum Three years of experience supporting Data Center, Manufacturing, Operations or engineering processes
  • Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered.
  • Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
  • Problem solving skills (5-why, six sigma, A3, 8D, etc.)
  • Continuous improvement skills (5S+, leading improvement events, etc.)
