About The Position

At Ramelius Resources, gold mining isn't just what we do — it's who we are. From our humble beginnings at Wattle Dam to becoming one of Australia's most trusted and successful gold producers, we've built a legacy on performance, innovation, and vision. With profitable operations, bold expansion plans, and exciting exploration projects underway, we're investing in cutting-edge technology and new greenfield sites to shape the future of mining — sustainably and responsibly. What truly sets us apart? Our people. At Ramelius, passion and purpose drive everything. We foster a culture where careers thrive through opportunity, respect, and shared ambition. When you grow, we grow. The Mount Magnet Mining area consists of multiple active and historic open pit, underground and satellite operations with an overall 17 year mine life. Central to Mount Magnet Operations is the Galaxy underground, which consists of the high-grade Mars and Saturn mining areas that are being mined via long hole open stoping. The mines are open along strike and at depth with additional drilling programmes aimed at extending the resource beyond its current 5-year mine life. Working within a small and talented team, you will drive mine production by producing effective drill and blast design, ventilation plans and short-term schedules that support the medium and long term mine plans. Your safety-first approach and commitment to best practice will see you excel and be supported to further develop your skills in planning, projects or to complete any outstanding underground time.
