About The Position

The Minibar Attendant is responsible for accurately stocking, reporting, itemizing and cleaning the mini bars in guest rooms. The Minibar Attendant takes inventory and restocks guest room mini bars on a daily basis and processes the guests' charges for the items used.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge in food and beverage (wine and champagne knowledge is a plus)
  • Must understand how to use POS programs such as Micros
  • Must be open to working AM/PM shifts, week days, weekends and holidays
  • Has a keen sense of attention to detail within your workspace
  • Able to keep track of inventory and ordering
  • Manual Handling
  • To take personal responsibility for punctuality

Responsibilities

  • Accurately stock, itemize, and clean guest room minibars daily.
  • Take inventory, process guest charges for consumed items, and ensure accurate posting.
  • Ensure rotation of minibar products and maintain proper presentation standards.
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding issues or discrepancies.
  • Promote other Firmdale Hotels and restaurants, and practice upselling techniques where appropriate.
  • Liaise with other departments to guarantee seamless guest service.
  • Follow allergy and safety procedures at all times.
  • Deliver the highest level of customer service with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Display appropriate telephone etiquette and effective communication at all times.
  • Support other team members and assist with departmental duties as required.
  • Take responsibility for punctuality, organization, and maintaining a clean workspace.
