Taylor Hospitality is searching for high-energy, food-loving, fast moving, friendly cooks to help dish out the fan-favorite snacks that keep our guests coming back for more. Whether enjoying a competitive round of mini-golf, or just simply vacationing at the Inn, you'll be the center of the action, serving up delicious eats with a side of fun! As a concessions cook, you'll be preparing food items according to standardized recipes, ensuring proper cooking and holding procedures, maintaining a clean and sanitized workspace, and assisting with setup and cleanup, all while staying quality-driven, and keeping a safe atmosphere.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar setting/role.
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
  • Ability to handle cash and make change accurately.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and cutting.
  • Prepare simple dishes like salads and entrees.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment and utensils after use.
  • Perform general cleaning duties, such as removing trash and garbage.
  • Keep the refrigerator stocked and rotate products using the "first in, first out" method.
  • Ensure all ingredients and condiments are displayed for customers.
  • May be responsible for taking customer orders and ringing up sales.
  • May be responsible for balancing register tills at the end of the day.
