About The Position

Position Overview: The Mini Bar Attendant is a vital part of the guest experience at Arlo Chicago. This role is responsible for maintaining fully stocked, clean, and well-organized mini bars in guest rooms, ensuring all items meet the hotel's high standards. The Mini Bar Attendant also assists with inventory management and replenishment, and provides guests with exceptional service by addressing inquiries about mini bar offerings.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in hospitality, inventory management, or a similar role is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.
  • Ability to lift, push, and carry up to 30 pounds.
  • Frequent walking, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in hospitality, inventory management, or a similar role is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Stocking & Organization: Restock the minibar with beverages, snacks, and other items according to inventory standards.
  • Ensure mini bar areas are clean, neatly arranged, and presented attractively
  • Inventory Management: Conduct daily inventory checks to track usage and ensure accurate restocking.
  • Report low stock levels and assist in placing orders for replenishment
  • Guest Interaction & Service: Be knowledgeable about all items in the mini bar, including dietary and allergy information.
  • Respond to guest questions or requests regarding mini bar products promptly and courteously.
  • Quality Assurance: Regularly inspect mini bars for expired or damaged items, replacing as necessary.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards in the handling and storage of mini bar supplies.
