The Mine Services Lead Technician role involves safely leading a team in daily tasks, including the installation and management of large-scale pumping systems, assisting with necessary paperwork, leading daily safety and line-out meetings, assisting with SWPPP inspections to meet DHEC requirements, and fostering a culture of safety, environmental responsibility, and performance.

Requirements

• Background in the function of dewatering pump fundamentals
• Safety background and knowledge of MHSA regulations
• Must possess the ability to apply common sense or logic to a problem-solving solution
• High school Diploma or GED
• Willing to do what is needed for the success of the mine services department
• Background in the operation mining equipment

Nice To Haves

• Previous Leadership role preferred
• Reclamation background preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead in the Installation and management of large-scale pumping systems
• Assist in the associated paperwork that is needed to perform his/her teams job duties
• Lead daily safety and line out meetings
• Assist in SWPPP inspections on scheduled dates to adhere to all DHEC requirements
• Drive a culture of safety, environmental responsibility, and performance
