This position is for a Mine Engineer - Production located in Green River, WY, and is open to both entry-level and experienced candidates.

Requirements

  • B.S. Degree in Engineering
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Data Analysis
  • Power BI

Nice To Haves

  • Mining or Geological Engineering preferred
  • CAD experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support safe operations, demonstrate the courage to care, and comply with all safety policies.
  • Work as a member of the Survey Team.
  • Subsidence Reporting.
  • Production Reporting.
  • Production Data Gathering.
  • Sampling and data gathering of information for Mine Engineering Department.
  • Provide appropriate coverage for Safety & Health Representatives as applicable.
  • Support the Mine Survey Team installing development miner sights, measuring elevations, and other tasks as needed.
  • Gather surface GPS data, report, and create contours of mine subsidence information to agencies annually.
  • Create and distribute mine production reports on specified frequencies.
  • Gather production data on all areas of mining process by performing time studies.
  • Understand all mine wide KPI’s.
  • Provide mine tours to customers and visitors.
  • Assist Mine Safety Department in various inspections by escorting MSHA inspectors.
