We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated individual to fill the position of Millwright within our Pasadena PVC located in Pasadena, TX.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • ISO Category II Certification from an accredited certification provider (Vibration Institute, Mobius, Technical Associates, etc.)
  • 2 or more years vibration monitoring experience including solving machine problems using vibration analysis
  • This position requires proof of the NCCER certification prior to employment (maintenance or machinist preferred).
  • Able to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed to maintain a 24/7 operating plant.
  • Ability to read, speak, and write English.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Physical requirements – Must be able to lift 40 lbs, climb ladders and stairs. Walking, bending, stooping is required.
  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment including the use of a respirator.
  • Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms.

Nice To Haves

  • Good working knowledge of SAP.

Responsibilities

  • Vibration data collection and analysis
  • Timely reporting of vibration analysis findings and recommendations
  • Provide troubleshooting support and solve equipment problems by evaluating vibration patterns and incorporating other process information such as pressures, temperatures, flows, sound, etc.
  • Maintain vibration database
  • Support the development of equipment maintenance strategies related to vibration analysis monitoring
  • Repair shop acceptance testing as needed
  • Provide call out coverage as needed
  • Assist with failure analysis of rotating equipment to determine root causes of failure and help determine solutions to prevent recurrence
  • Provide oversight and mentoring to less experienced Millwrights and Vibration Technicians
