About The Position

Tibbetts Lumber Co. LLC, a growing Lumber and Building materials company, is seeking a qualified Millwork Field Installation Coordinator. This role involves coordinating the installation function while working toward achieving sales goals and budgets, performing duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Requirements

  • Achieve a minimum 95% on-time, on-schedule, complete installation rate.
  • Less than a 2% call-back/correction ratio on installation.
  • Warranty work completed to customer satisfaction within one week of notification.
  • One-year (1) certificate from college or technical school or three-years (3) to four-years (4) related work experience in installation of various building product, preferably doors, windows, trim, etc. and/or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Prior experience in building supplies industry required.

Responsibilities

  • Visits job sites before, during, and after installations to ensure quality standards are satisfactory and projects are being completed on time.
  • Reviews installation orders or schedules to ascertain resources necessary to complete project on time.
  • Plans installation operations, establishing priorities and sequences for installed products.
  • Reviews reports and resolves problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent installation delays.
  • Develops or revises standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Ensures safety procedures are followed, in accordance with OSHA regulations.
  • Manages employees and/or sub-contractors during the installation function and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the work produced at site.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organization policies and applicable laws.
  • Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training employees, planning, assigning and directing work.
  • Appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees.
  • Addressing complaints and resolving problems.
