About The Position

Description Qualifications: • 5 years’ experience working in manufacturing environment. • Knowledge of tooling and machining. • Experience with ISO and specifications and requirements. • Understands GD&T and the blueprint map, as it relates to product verification activities. • Ability to read and understand drawings and customer standards and requirements. • Knowledge of ERP System and MS Products. • Good interpersonal and communication skills. Duties & Expectations: • Conducts required training and appropriate documentation. Leads, trains and coaches’ team, new hires and employees from other department to applicable standards and work instructions • Reviews and organizes daily work environment with shop floor manager by scheduling machines and delegating appropriate tasks to team members. • Reviews product in-process on the floor during fabrication to meet productivity and efficiency goals. • Performs root cause analysis. • Performs corrective and preventative actions. • Reporting out of tolerance conditions, assist with the investigation activities and communication to the shop floor. • Provide regular feedback on metrics to management and employees, as applicable. • Analyze trends and detail areas in need of improvement and/or preventive measures. • Performs Performance Reviews. • Participates and provides input during weekly department meetings. • Monitor and disposition of scrap. • Oversees the continuous improvement of processes and understands the contribution to the effectiveness of the QMS, including documenting the implementation of continuous improvement activities and customer satisfaction feedback. • Fills in as acting supervisor when Department Manager is out of the office. • Keeps department area clean and organized. • Aware of quality policies, procedures, objectives, contribution to conformance of product, safety and ethics.
