About The Position

Reporting to the Production Manager, this individual has a keen understanding of working with chemicals where they will mix, dispense, and label batches according to specifications. If you like attention to detail and safety, this is a great role with visibility to the organization. Some of the day-to-day functions include weigh up, Mix, dispensing, packaging, and labeling of compound materials. In this position, your shift will be from 2:15PM-10:45PM.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship or Permanent US Resident Status required.
  • High school diploma or GED (General Education Degree) required.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of Manufacturing experience or batch making required.
  • Must have knowledge of weights and be able to use a scale as well as math skills.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced department and be able to multi-task.
  • Effective communication skills; written as well as verbal.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand basic English required.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Read work orders and Batch cards to determine production specifications and information.
  • Precision Weigh Up of powders, solvents, liquids, gums, rubbers, paint, and other conductive chemicals.
  • Sift, package, and label powders / to bring workflow to completion for other departments.
  • Perform Mixing operation to batch card requirements.
  • Dispense material into proper containers.
  • Print, label, and package required product and complete basic packaging
  • Run extruder, and compression molding machines to create quality control samples for batch testing
  • Record production information using Day by Hour.
  • Perform Quality checks as needed to maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Sustain Safety and 5S program.
  • Other job duties as assigned.
