About The Position
We are seeking a dependable Mill Operator to support rubber production operations. This role is responsible for processing mixed rubber material, maintaining production speed, and ensuring the quality of finished product for testing and downstream use.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ year of manufacturing or production experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with industrial equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to monitor product quality
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
- Good communication skills
Responsibilities
- Operate mill equipment to process and refine rubber material according to production standards
- Monitor speed, flow, and consistency of material throughout the milling process
- Verify machine set points and adjust as needed to maintain product quality
- Follow proper procedures for safe knife use and material handling
- Inspect finished rubber to ensure it meets quality specifications for testing
- Read, understand, and follow all quality standards and work instructions
- Provide coverage for Mill Crew Utility roles during breaks as needed
- Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness around the mill floor per SOPs
- Follow all safety procedures, including PPE requirements and forklift awareness
- Support additional duties, overtime, or shift changes based on production needs
