About The Position

Since 2005, TAG Manufacturing has been the one-stop resource for quality, durable, powerful attachments and buckets proudly made in Chattanooga, Tennessee. We opened our 2nd Plant location in 2018 which doubled our capacity and enlarged our workforce. As we continue to expand our business our need for qualified talent grows as well. The welder position is responsible for laying out, building, securing, and repairing products in the production process. Welders will use MIG welding equipment to build components and products

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Ability to complete and pass onsite weld test

Nice To Haves

• 1 Year Welding Experience
• Metal industry or manufacturing experience

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret layout details and parts lists, as well as use tape measure and calipers
• Lay out, position, and secure parts and assemblies according to print or diagram specifications
• Adjust valves, amperage, or voltage to obtain desired flame or arc
• Tack-weld or welds components and assemblies, using MIG welding equipment
• Heats, forms, cuts, and dresses metal parts using hand tools, torch, or arc gouging equipment
• Welds components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
• Comply with all TAG Policies, Procedures, and Safety Protocols
• All other duties assigned
