About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Entry-Level MIG Welder to join our team. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity ideal for candidates with at least 6 months of welding experience who are looking to grow their skills in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of MIG welding experience required
• Familiarity with various welding tools and equipment
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately
• Basic shop math skills, including converting decimals to fractions
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on a variety of materials and components
• Operate and maintain different types of welding equipment
• Manually guide welding gun along weld lines, maintaining proper arc length and speed
• Ensure proper weld depth and bead quality by monitoring metal color, weld sound, and molten puddle size
• Inspect finished work to ensure it meets quality standards
• Accurately track and report production quantities
• Follow all safety procedures and workplace guidelines
