About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and dependable MIG/TIG Welder to join our team. This position is responsible for performing high-quality welding and fabrication on metal components and assemblies in a production or fabrication environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical welding abilities, experience reading blueprints, and a commitment to precision, safety, and quality workmanship.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational welding training preferred.
2+ years of MIG and TIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
Strong knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy basics, and material preparation.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
Experience working with steel, stainless steel, and/or aluminum.
Comfortable using hand tools, grinders, and fabrication equipment.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality welds.

Nice To Haves

AWS certification or equivalent is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and/or aluminum materials.
Fabricate and assemble metal components according to blueprints and work orders.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and weld symbols.
Set up welding machines and select proper welding techniques based on material type and thickness.
Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, cleaning, and fitting prior to welding.
Ensure proper weld penetration, alignment, and structural integrity.
Inspect finished welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures to verify specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all company safety guidelines and properly use required PPE.
Assist with additional fabrication or shop duties as needed.
