We are expanding our Women’s Health Department to meet the growing needs of our community. The Midwife will assist in building a high-quality practice within Women’s Health, built on a foundation of excellence, compassion, and patient-centered care. Our team of skilled professionals provides top-tier obstetrical and gynecological care in a supportive, collaborative environment. This person will help set the standard for excellence in midwifery care, oversee staffing, implement policies and protocols, and ensure top-tier care for midwifery patients.

Requirements

  • Licensed and registered as a Nurse Midwife in the State of New York.
  • Proven experience managing low-risk pregnancies.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality obstetrical care, effectively managing pregnancy and postpartum needs.
  • Provide exceptional gynecological care, accurately diagnosing and treating patients with acute gynecological concerns.
  • Ensure accurate documentation within the electronic medical records system in compliance with Aizer Health policies.
  • Work collaboratively and cohesively with the OBGYN physicians to ensure integrated, patient-centered care.
  • Support and provide high-quality care for laboring patients at Good Samaritan Hospital according to the on-call schedule.
