About The Position

" Opportunity Snapshot: Compensation: $69-83/hour Location: Midland, TX Assignment Duration: 12 months+ Work Schedule: M-F / 40 hours+ Benefits: Comprehensive insurance with 401(k), PTO and holidays Responsibilities Be an Area engineer for operations for a specific plant area. 8+ years’ experience requested Works in a team with other Facilities engineers, Site Contact & Lead Engineers to support assigned operations area and gain knowledge/exposure to other areas of plant Conducts Monthly Facilities Surveillance of area driven KPI's Provides operations support for changes, repairs & alterations of all plant pressure equipment (including piping, static equipment, rotating equipment, tanks etc.) Provides shutdown engineering support Participates in area Risk Assessment, HAZOP's, Hazard Hunts, Critical Operating Parameter Reviews. Leads incident investigations (downtime, process safety related) Support Opportunity management-identification of opportunities and development of scope of work for projects Risk assessments on new facility projects, existing facilities and closure of mitigating action items Leads performance testing and plant based trials Develops operating guidelines for facilities Coaching and mentoring of fellow and junior colleagues Project execution and troubleshooting experience needed Water treatment/facilities experience a plus Pipeline hydraulic, pump design experience PSSR support through commissioning - Field time required Communication, project management, strong technical background in water related (pumps, pipelines) applications a plus Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Civil, or Electrical Mechanical Engineering or related engineering specialty, or equivalent professional experience Extensive knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs Read, write, and speak fluent English, especially as it applies to technical and business communications Clean driving record and valid driver's license Must be local to Midland, within 50 miles of the work site. Requirements

  • 8+ years’ experience requested
  • Project execution and troubleshooting experience needed
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Civil, or Electrical Mechanical Engineering or related engineering specialty, or equivalent professional experience
  • Extensive knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria
  • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
  • Read, write, and speak fluent English, especially as it applies to technical and business communications
  • Clean driving record and valid driver's license
