About The Position

Middle School STEM Math Teacher Maple Crest Middle STEM School Job Summary: Prepare students for changing world in which they live; provide diverse learning opportunities using scientific inquiry, technological & engineering design, mathematical analysis, and project/problem-based experiences with a Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) focus; receive ongoing training for STEM; participate in district and building level professional development; revise curriculum based upon STEM concepts; collaborate with other STEM teachers.

Requirements

• Valid Indiana teaching license with middle school certification (Grades 6-8) in Math required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document student progress, providing feedback to students and parents.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and collaborative planning.
• Supervise students during school activities, field trips, and breaks.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet students' varying needs.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavior.
• Comply with school policies, state regulations, and ethical teaching standards.
