About The Position

McCall Middle School is seeking a Special Education Teacher to serve as the case manager and teacher for students with moderate disabiltiies. Provide and guide instruction in general education and sub-separate setting. Implement the educational program and related services as outlined in the assigned students' IEP. Maintain supervision and safety of students at all times. Collaborate with students, parents, and other members of staff. Plan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies for a positive learning environment. Use appropriate behavior management techniques. Create, complete and update IEPs. Maintain required records and data. Collaborate with and support ESP (i.e., teaching assistants).

Requirements

• Must hold a valid DESE Teacher Cerification in Moderate or Severe Disabilities.

Nice To Haves

• Ideally Masters plus 3 years experience.
