The Pennington School is seeking a Middle School science teacher as a temporary leave replacement for the 2026 spring term, starting on or around mid-February until June 12, 2026. The ideal candidate for this position is a highly engaging and passionate Middle School educator who will teach Life Science and Earth Science for Grades 6 and 7. Candidates should have a record of proven effectiveness in teaching science. Candidates should also possess a developmental understanding of and appreciation for working with students in this age group (Grades 6 through 8). The ideal candidate will embrace a student-centered approach to learning and guide students to work toward personal and collective goals in skills, habits of mind, and understanding. Class sizes typically range from twelve to sixteen students. This position is located at our 55-acre campus in Pennington, NJ. The ability to walk up and down stairs is required.
