About The Position
Grace seeks a confident and creative math teacher who loves teaching middle school students to fill a family leave position from April 6th to May 8th 2026. The ideal candidate takes professional growth seriously; values conceptual understanding and not just procedural fluency; communicates effectively with students, families, and colleagues; brings tools and strategies for differentiating instruction within the context of heterogeneous groups; and will work collaboratively to develop curriculum. Teaching load would include sections of sixth grade math. Other responsibilities may include lunch duty, clubs, tutorials, and other supervisory duties. Familiarity with the Open Up Resources: Illustrative Math Program is a plus.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree and teaching experience are required.
Nice To Haves
- A master’s degree is preferred.
