About The Position

POSITION: Middle School Nordic Skiing Coach REPORTS TO: KMS Athletic Coordinator SEASON : early December through mid-February SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday afternoons, 1 race per week. Subject to change SKILLS REQUIRED: Previous Nordic coaching experience preferred. Coach will be responsible for team activities, including all scheduled practices and games, and will adhere to district policies, rules, and objectives. Coach will lead by example among the team and players. The focus will be on personal development, skill development, safety, sportsmanship, and working to establish and improve the team and program. Candidate should be detail-oriented, must meet or be willing to complete all Conway School District and some NHIAA requirements, and be able to travel with the team to and from away games. CPR/First Aid certification required, but will train if needed.
