About The Position

St. Paul School, located at 61 Moss Road in Westerville, is seeking a dedicated and engaging educator to join our faculty for the 2026/2027 school year. This position includes teaching one middle school math class and providing targeted small-group tutoring support for enrichment and/or remediation purposes for students in grades 4 through 8. The ideal candidate will collaborate well with other teachers, support diverse learners, and promote academic growth in mathematics.

Requirements

  • Hold an appropriate Ohio Teaching License (Professional, Permanent, or Resident Educator) or be eligible to obtain one before beginning to teach
  • Current satisfactory BCI & FBI background checks
  • Have attended or be willing to attend a Virtus Protecting God's Children training [https://columbuscatholic.org/safe]
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with students and families
  • Commitment to the mission and values of St. Paul School
  • Appropriate state certification/license as required by the grade levels and subjects taught
  • Religious Education certification as required by the diocese

Responsibilities

  • Teach middle school math course, including planning lessons, delivering instruction, and assessing student progress
  • Provide small-group intervention and enrichment for students in grades 4–8.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Monitor and communicate student progress with parents, guardians, and school staff
  • Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum and support student success
  • Maintain a structured, respectful, and engaging classroom environment
  • Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events
