About The Position

We're gearing up for another season of intramural basketball and are looking for staff members interested in coaching. No prior coaching experience is required, just a willingness to support students, build their skills, and create a positive, team-oriented environment. Teams will typically have one practice per week and 1-2 games, with most games held on Saturday mornings at Collins Middle School. We will hold two practices before winter break-on December 5 and 19-and will provide a full schedule when we return. is a description of what we are looking for. This will include: coordinating tryouts, practice planning, game management, and fundraising. The coach will also work to ensure all school policies/procedures are being followed as it relates to the athletic programs.

Requirements

• Previous coaching/playing experience required

• Candidate should have previous experience with Basketball
• Experience working with youth athletics
• Demonstrates a high degree of energy and a genuine interest in students and their success
• Experience working with students & families of diverse ethnic backgrounds
