About The Position
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Valid Ohio Teaching License in Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Intensive or equivalent Experience in diagnostic assessments to determine instructional needs of students Ability to write an I.E.P. to develop instructional goals and objectives based on a student's needs in cooperation with an I.E.P. team Organizational skills leading to implementation of instructional goals and objectives Ability to develop instructional strategies to meet the needs of students with disabilities in the regular classroom Ability to assist general education classroom teachers in implementing instructional strategies to meet the needs of students DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Experience working with students with special needs at the High School level Familiar with and capable of utilizing computer applications to enhance instruction Experience with Behavioral Interventions Knowledge of crisis prevention and strategies for de-escalation Experience with co-teaching
Requirements
