About The Position

A (Middle Office Specialist) OR (Middle office Business support) at a bank is responsible for supporting the front office by performing a rigorous analysis of documents for opening accounts, credit cards, and Financial applications, including analysis of company documents, validation, reconciliation, and reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations while actively monitoring market risk and managing situations to keep processes running smoothly throughout the account opening process. Essentially acting as a vital link between the sales/trading teams and back-office operations. (Quality Assurance). (The Middle office specialist) OR (The Middle office Business support) is responsible for processing negotiations made in front office, opening business accounts, individual accounts, and various branch products, ensuring high quality customer service and compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulations.

Requirements

  • Middle office specialist or Middle office Business support must have bachelor’s degree in financial, administration, accounting, or equivalent discipline and/or five years banking experience.
  • Needs to have a background in the financial services industry and must have deep familiarity with information technology.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with front office, back office (Quality assurance), and risk management teams.
  • In-depth understanding of bank policies and compliance standards.
  • Ability to interpret documents

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with branches, departments and BSA.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients.
  • Accurately inputting trade details from front office systems and verifying their accuracy against market standards and internal policies.
  • Detailed analysis of all documentation, seeking all means available at the Bank for a complete risk analysis, identification of potential problems and referral of concerns to your manager and BSA department
  • Daily monitoring of pending issues forwarded to the BSA or branches, and reporting through a weekly report to the manager
  • Generate comprehensive control and position reports for internal and regulatory purposes.
  • Ensuring all trade activity aligns with relevant regulations and internal compliance guidelines.
  • Supporting system updates and ensuring data integrity within the middle office platforms.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of bank and customer information.
  • Demonstrate expertise in business documentation and operational processes
