About The Position

This role is a key sales position responsible for driving growth across the middle market segment, engaging clients with revenues from $20M to $1B. The Middle Market Business Development Rep will manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting and discovery to closing deals—while becoming a trusted product expert in financial technology solutions. The role requires building and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers, identifying market opportunities, and collaborating across teams to deliver tailored solutions. Success in this role directly contributes to revenue growth, market expansion, and long-term client partnerships. Requirements

  • 5-7 years of sales experience, with 3-5 years focused on middle market accounts
  • 3-5 years of experience in fintech and/or commercial banking environments
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and maintain a robust sales pipeline
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and trends in commercial payables and financial services
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to expand market share and achieve revenue targets
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closing, including prospecting, pitching, and negotiation
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with middle market clients, strategic partners, and key stakeholders
  • Utilize CRM systems to document sales activities, track performance metrics, and forecast future opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet client needs and enhance long-term value
  • Monitor market dynamics and adjust sales strategies to maximize revenue growth
