About The Position

We're looking for an experienced Mid-Tier Network Administrator to complete our team. In this role, you will be a skilled professional specializing in Cisco and Fortinet network solutions, likely experienced in switches, routers, and firewalls, and potentially involved in designing, developing, and implementing custom solutions.

Requirements

  • An Associates degree in Computer Science or related education.
  • 5+ years of experience with Network Administration.
  • Proven experience in customization, configuration, and development
  • Required experience with Cisco switch and router hardware.
  • Experience with Meraki Access Points.
  • Experience with Fortinet Firewalls.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Dependable transportation with business-related milage paid.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

  • Install and configure network equipment to resolve hardware or software issues.
  • Collaboration and working closely with business units, stakeholders, divisions, and end-users to understand requirements and ensure solutions meet their needs.
  • Technical Expertise in additional skills such as PowerShell scripting, command-line, analysis, etc.
  • Problem-solving with the ability to adapt to troubleshooting and resolving issues within the network infrastructure.
  • Experience with RingCentral or other SaaS VoIP System.
  • Experience with vendor management and purchasing.
  • Strong Experience in network monitoring to identify performance improvement measures.
  • Support CAT 6/6A and fiber cable installation for new network connectivity as necessary.
  • Experience with network diagnostic tools and service aids to resolve equipment failures.
  • This position requires at least 5 years of experience in network administration or a similar capacity.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills are essential.
