About The Position

Protos is seeking a motivated Midmarket Sales Director to expand our customer base and achieve aggressive sales goals. To be successful in this role, you should have an excellent track record in selling high-level security personnel or a similar managed service using a strategic selling process. This is a hunter role.  The ideal candidate is self-motivated and an expert networker.  If you have previous experience in building a book of business, developing relationships, and the ability to drive revenue, then we’d like to meet you. Our ideal candidates combine excellent communication and networking skills with a strategic mindset. Ultimately, your goal is to meet/exceed sales quotas, drive revenue, and become the industry leader in managing Off-Duty Law Enforcement programs within your region.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience in a senior sales role
  • Must be comfortable with spending extensive time on the phone daily
  • Proficient in web-based applications (i.e. salesforce.com), and programs (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint), to effectively edit and create reports, database entries, and presentation materials
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • Availability to travel throughout all areas of the territory as needed, including overnight travel
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in one (or more) of the following fields: Sales, Sales Enablement, Sales Development, or Customer Relationship Management.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Hunters are responsible for initiating contact with potential customers to generate and qualify leads, promote Protos off-duty services, and identify sales opportunities.
  • Establish, develop, and foster quality business relationships within the territory to position Protos Off-Duty as the most responsive off-duty services provider
  • Know and present Protos’ value proposition to prospective clients
  • Develop and submit business proposals for prospective clients
  • Present proposed solutions via video meeting or in-person
  • Manage complex negotiations with prospects to close deals
  • Attain the company’s expected sales target for new business
  • Build a robust pipeline and report on regional sales results
  • Analyze regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growth
  • Address potential problems and suggest prompt solutions
  • Engagement in specific sales activities as directed (such as campaigns, call blitzes, etc.)
  • Attend professional networking and community events when appropriate
