Our Teleport Account Manager (AM) Charter: To expand the Net Recurring Revenue (NRR) of existing customers. What we ask of you: As a Teleport AM, your primary responsibility will be to sell Teleport’s products and services to existing customers while maintaining and supporting the relationship. AMs are responsible for uncovering growth opportunities and bringing them to close as well as ensuring on-time renewals. AMs are also responsible for forecasting Net ARR changes and keeping SFDC up to date. An AM is responsible for keeping a healthy book of business. Your book of business will consist of ~60 accounts. Performance in the role is measured by growth in ARR and a retention rate above 90%. In order to achieve these goals, AMs must:

Requirements

  • Experienced: Has 3+ years experience in startups, account management, sales development, sales, renewals, or customer success.
  • Extremely organized, detail oriented, and confident at building repeatable processes.
  • Comfortable managing a portfolio of ~60 customers and identifying upsells and contraction/churn risks.
  • A fast learner: Adapts quickly and can work independently.
  • Persistent and personable.
  • A strong communicator who can balance engaging with technical personas while driving business outcomes.
  • Receptive to feedback and has a desire for continual improvement.
  • Embodies our company behaviors, especially those of: “We Start Simple and Iterate”, “We Are Drivers, Not Passengers” and “We Are Builders”.
  • Great at aligning Teleport’s products to ROI
