What You’ll Bring to The Team: At Florence we’re passionate about making it easy for our customers to contribute to research and find cures. The Mid Market Account Executive will target Life Science industry Pharma Sponsors and CROs with the goal of bringing cures to market more quickly. Our clinical trial operational data & workflow software helps speed up trials and while cutting the costs from clunky antiquated workflows.Successful candidates will have demonstrated sales competence, a passion for technology, and an interest in advancing clinical research with great software. We are seeking candidates who are experienced in software sales within Life Sciences industries, with expertise in SaaS. You will: Enjoy selling a software solution with a clear value proposition and strong ROI. Build a funnel. Grow a funnel for deals that will close 4 to 9 months out. Work as a team. You will work with Marketing, skilled Sales Engineers, Product Management, Implementation and SDR teams. Travel. Many meetings are held via the web but getting in front of customers/prospects for on-site visits and conferences is important. Expect 1 trip per month. Grow. This is a personal growth opportunity. Requirements

  • 4+ years of demonstrated sales experience - including selling SaaS software
  • Life Sciences industry experience strongly preferred
  • Experience selling software with a web-based demo approach is essential
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex sales cycles - acquiring both new logos and expansions
  • Experience working with SDR teams for account planning lead conversions
  • Excellent written, verbal, webinar and presentation skills
  • Have experience with an industry leading CRM system
  • An appetite for outbound sales planning and activities
  • Focused on being top performer on sales tech stack tools (i.e. Gong)
  • AI-forward mentality - how to streamline yourself and processes is in your mindset
  • Competitive in nature and intellectually curious
  • Presentation s kills must be strong
  • Bachelor’s Degree required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with sales and discovery frameworks a plus
  • Force Management (Command of the Message) training would be a bonus
