About The Position

Waikiki Health is seeking a part-time and full-time Mid-Level Provider The provider provides independent management of the care of adult and pediatric patients; provides supervision for the care delivered by the physician assistants and nurse practitioners; and assists in clinic teaching and administrative responsibilities. Provider may clinically supervise mid-level providers.

Requirements

Graduate of a certified Physician Assistant (PA) program.
One year of work experience as a PA in a primary clinic preferred.
Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Hawaii.

Responsibilities

Provides comprehensive outpatient care with the ability to consult and/or refer to other health care providers/services/agencies as necessary.
Maintains charting in accordance with legal and clinic standards.
Dispenses medications from within clinic supply in accordance with legal and clinic standards.
Inoculates and vaccinates patients to immunize against communicable diseases.
Participates in health center and professional quality assurance plans/activities, data collection and analysis.
Other duties as assigned
