About The Position

Mid-Level Computational Electromagnetics Engineer Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) - Phantom Works has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Computational Electromagnetics Engineer to join us as part of the Advanced Codes & Measurements team located in Berkeley, MO.

Position Responsibilities: Research and develop new methodologies for processing, analyzing & visualizing radar cross section (RCS) and antenna gain test data Expand features and capabilities of existing measurement processing tools Work with test engineers to optimize user workflows and automate processing Code algorithms in C++ or Python Develop and execute software verification, validation, and benchmarking test plans Identify and resolve software issues Document software and develop training tools for users This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Berkeley, MO. Travel may be required up to 10% of the time This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start may be required. Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
• 5+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
• 1 or more years experience with C, C++, Python and/or shell scripts
• This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment.
• An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start may be required.
• This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.

Nice To Haves

• Experience processing and visualizing analysis/test data
• Knowledge of electromagnetic fields, wave propagation, signal processing, and image processing techniques
• Experience with antenna, radome, and Radar Cross Section (RCS) measurement techniques
• Experience with GPU computing, signal processing, and AI/ML methods a plus
• Advanced Degree in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics
• Active Security Clearance
