About The Position

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is looking for a Mid Integrated Master Schedule Specialist III position. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse and talented group of individuals committed to driving success. The Mid Integrated Master Schedule Specialist will support Navy C4I programs by developing, maintaining, and analyzing complex project schedules, typically using software like Microsoft Project or Primavera P6. They ensure that all Navy program activities—such as ship construction, maintenance availabilities, or software development—are horizontally and vertically integrated to align with cost, performance, and contract goals.

Requirements

  • Clearance required: Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience with integrated master scheduling
  • Strong knowledge of scheduling methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Project Management or related field
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. A high-level Department of Defense active security clearance is/may be required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in project scheduling (e.g., PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP)) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for complex naval projects using tools like MS Project or Primavera.
  • Identify the critical path, schedule slack/float, and task dependencies to identify potential project delays and bottlenecks.
  • Perform SRAs to analyze risks, impacts, and "what-if" scenarios, enabling proactive risk mitigation.
  • Ensure horizontal and vertical integration of schedules across functional groups (finance, engineering, manufacturing) and subcontractor inputs.
  • Utilize Earned Value Management (EVM) data to analyze schedule variances and measure progress against the baseline.
  • Prepare and present detailed schedule status reports, dashboards, and briefings to senior leadership and program managers.
  • Ensure schedules meet contractual, DoD 5000 series, and DCMA 14-point assessment standards.
