About The Position

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) Specialist position. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse and high-performing team dedicated to mission success. The Integrated Master Schedule Specialist will support Navy C4I programs by developing, maintaining, and analyzing complex project schedules using tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6. The role ensures that all program activities—including ship construction, maintenance availabilities, and software development—are fully integrated both horizontally and vertically, aligning with cost, performance, and contractual objectives.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in integrated master scheduling
  • Strong knowledge of scheduling methodologies, tools, and best practices
  • Experience with scheduling software such as Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels
  • Working knowledge of project management principles and practices
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Project Management or related field
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. A high-level Department of Defense active security clearance is/may be required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in project scheduling (e.g., PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP)) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain complex Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for Navy programs using tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6, incorporating Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Statements of Work (SOW)
  • Perform critical path analysis, schedule variance analysis, and “what-if” scenario modeling to assess the impact of program changes
  • Integrate cost and schedule data, tracking performance metrics to ensure alignment with contract milestones and DoD acquisition standards (e.g., DCMA 14-point assessment)
  • Collaborate with Program Managers, engineers, and suppliers to incorporate updates, resolve scheduling conflicts, and maintain alignment across stakeholders
  • Identify schedule risks, dependencies, and performance bottlenecks, and develop mitigation strategies for leadership
  • Generate and present daily, weekly, and monthly reports (e.g., Gantt charts, PERT charts) to leadership and government customers
