About The Position

Microsoft Systems Engineer Systems EngineerTysons Corner, VA |Position Requires 10+ Years Experience Hybrid- 3 days Onsite @ 1100 L St, NW DC Active Secret Clearance(TS Preferred) Bachelor's degree required Active MCSE of 365 expert level cert required Must Pass Background and Credit Check Responsibilities: Continuous Infrastructure Monitoring & Response: Provide 24/7/365 monitoring of all infrastructure assets and respond and escalate accordingly. Incident Management: Provide oversight, remote, and on-site support until the incident is resolved. Post-Incident Analysis: Provide root cause and mitigation analysis post-incident within 24 hours. Vendor Coordination: Engage third-party vendors to provide resolution management, including remote or on-site support, replacement components, etc. Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed Service Level Agreements. Change Control & Quality Assurance: Provide change management control, event collation and analysis, quality assurance and regression verification, impact analysis, and documentation prior to all additions, modifications, or removal activities, including any end-of-life (EOL) actions. Desktop Infrastructure: Provide virtual desktop image support. Application Virtualization: Provide support for creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting VMware ThinApps, Microsoft Remote Applications, and Microsoft APP-V applications. Endpoint Deployment & MDM: Deploy and support customer-facing peripheral device infrastructure, including, but not limited to: Zero / Thin Client Management and AirWatch Mobile Device Management. Authentication & Access Management: Support/troubleshoot/update/monitor the health of the ADFS and Web Proxy servers that provide authentication for Office 365, and the ADFS server that provide authentication to enterprise applications. Archiving & Data Retention: Support/troubleshoot/update/monitor the health of the Enterprise Vault infrastructure and ensure access to the archived data. Cloud Service Connectivity: Support/troubleshoot access issues to the Office 365 infrastructure and any security or message delivery failures. Enterprise Mobility: Support/troubleshoot/update/monitor the health of the Good Enterprise Mobility service; troubleshoot any client connectivity issues and monitor. Mobile Device Support: Support Android-based mobile phones and tablets to include OS image development, troubleshooting, provisioning, upgrading, application research and deployment, security testing, and software pushes. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in IT or related field. Experience: 10 years' experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting enterprise class information technology systems. Technical Certifications: Current MCSE Certification with strong experience implementing and troubleshooting Windows, Active Directory, Microsoft SQL, Exchange/Office 365, Certificates and smart cards, and supporting services including DNS, DHCP, OS patching including SCCM and Kace, monitoring systems including SolarWinds, and certificate authorities.
