About The Position

CGS is seeking a Microsoft Power Platform & Dynamics 365 CRM Pipeline Lead (Level II) to serve as the technical lead and system owner of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales environment. This role is responsible for architecting, governing, and optimizing our enterprise pipeline management framework to ensure forecasting accuracy, disciplined opportunity progression, and data integrity across the growth organization. The position focuses primarily on Dynamics 365 Sales configuration, opportunity lifecycle management, business process flows, and CRM governance within a federal government contracting environment. While collaborating on Power Platform automation and reporting initiatives, the core mandate of this role is ensuring that CRM functions as a scalable, structured growth system aligned with CGS’s business development strategy. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years administering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales, including opportunity lifecycle configuration and forecasting setup.
  • Hands-on experience with Power Automate and Power Platform ALM; working knowledge of Power BI data integration.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and query logic.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple data sets and produce detailed analytics.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Ability to travel as needed for business development and industry events.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and governing pipeline stage-gate frameworks within a sales or business development organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business development processes into structured CRM configurations.
  • DoD 8140 Cybersecurity Certification or the ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • Ability to pass all required pre-employment screenings.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines for Power Platform ALM.
  • Knowledge of application development or low‑code/no‑code solution design.
  • Experience with Government Contracting, Alaska Native Corporations, and/or SBA programs.
  • APMP or Microsoft Power Platform certifications (PL‑200, PL‑400, MB‑210).
  • Experience with AI‑driven CRM tools and predictive analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the Dynamics 365 environment.
  • Implement and manage a structured application lifecycle management (ALM) process, including solution packaging, deployment pipelines, version control, and change management.
  • Oversee system security, environment strategy, integrations, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data quality, system performance, and compliance with governance standards.
  • Design, build, and maintain Power Automate flows that streamline business processes and improve data consistency.
  • Establish governance standards for automation development, including documentation, monitoring, and error handling.
  • Partner with business development and capture teams to identify automation opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensure CRM data architecture supports accurate Power BI reporting
  • Partner with the Reporting & Analytics Analyst to validate forecasting and pipeline datasets.
  • Support data model integrity and CRM-to-report alignment
  • Provide subject matter expertise during executive pipeline reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with data management policies, security protocols, and governance regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize data workflows and improve system efficiency.
  • Support data integration and migration efforts across systems.
  • Provide training and documentation to ensure proper system use and accountability for data entry.
  • Maintaining accurate, timely, and high‑integrity CRM and pipeline data.
  • Ensuring CRM data architecture enables accurate forecasting and executive reporting.
  • Ensuring a robust ALM process that keeps CRM environments stable, secure, and well‑governed.
  • Aligning CRM and automation activities with CGS’s growth strategy.
