About The Position
This is a rare opportunity to help shape a large-scale Microsoft Fabric rollout that will impact how data is used across an entire environment. As a Microsoft Fabric Consultant with our client, you'll move beyond implementation—building durable data foundations, enabling teams, and leaving behind systems and skills that last. Your work will directly influence research, administration, and data-driven decision-making at scale. C2C is not an option with this job opening and all applicants should be able work for any US Employer without sponsorship. Sponsorship is not provided and this person will not need to require sponsorship in the future.
Requirements
- Hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience across data engineering workloads
- Advanced Power BI modeling, DAX optimization, and governance expertise
- Strong Python (pandas/PySpark) and SQL skills
- Ability to teach, enable, and transfer knowledge effectively
Responsibilities
- Build and operate Microsoft Fabric data engineering assets (Lakehouse, OneLake, Pipelines, Notebooks, Warehouse)
- Design and automate ETL/ELT workflows for enterprise and research data
- Develop dimensional data models optimized for Direct Lake and Power BI
- Create and tune Power BI datasets, semantic models, and DAX
- Implement governance and security patterns across Fabric environments
- Establish reusable templates, standards, and documentation
