About The Position

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Microsoft Engineer within our Corporate Overhead division based outside the Atlanta area. This position falls under our information security line of business. In this role, you will be part of a growing operational team of engineers that work to keep the organization’s infrastructure on the leading edge. Duties entail innovating infrastructure enhancements and maintaining the Microsoft Windows Server on-premise, private and public cloud environments within North America. This position is within our infrastructure computing organization. The successful candidate will require a firm understanding of Microsoft Windows server platforms along with public, private cloud environments to be effective within the role. Along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and team focus oriented. How We Work As a Microsoft Engineer you will be expected to work onsite based in our Peachtree Corners office and travel required as needed. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, and related work experience.
  • Candidates must hold at least Microsoft role-based certifications in the following areas: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator, Azure AI, and Azure Administrator.
  • Additionally, candidates are required to have a minimum VMware Certified Professional credential for virtualization, and CompTIA (Cloud+, Network+, Security+).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with development, operations, and infrastructure teams.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable automation processes.
  • Azure AD/Microsoft 365 Exchange Administration/Configuration/Trouble Shooting
  • Active Directory – (Site Topology, DNS, Enterprise CA, and AD Design Skills)
  • Windows Server: 2025, 2022, 2019, 2016, 2012, 2008
  • Understanding of system architecture: storage solutions, network topologies, security best practice, etc.
  • Scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, etc.) for automating administrative tasks.
  • Strong understanding of networking principles and security best practices within on-prem and cloud environments.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools like Splunk, Dynatrace and SolarWinds.
  • Firm understanding of ITIL best practices regarding Service, Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
  • Experience within financial services, retail, or technology companies.

Responsibilities

  • Assessing and Advancing Windows Server Operating Systems, Azure Virtual Machines, Active Directory, Exchange, M365 Environments according to Microsoft latest advancements.
  • Assessing, Managing and Advancing Active Directory global forest(s), including and not limited to group policy objects, sites and service replication, OU structure, and trust security.
  • Troubleshooting any MS Windows operating system events along with remediation directed through change control procedures between IT interdepartmental processes.
  • Reviewing MS Windows server network connectivity alerts and remediate within required SLA agreements to prevent production outages.
  • Ensuring all Windows Server operating systems stay patched and secure.
  • Reviewing enterprise vulnerability scans automating remediation action plans to ensure all MS Windows operating systems are staying in compliance without much human intervention.
  • Maintaining a virus free and patched operating system working with InfoSec Teams.
  • Implementing project work as required for operating system, and application upgrades.
  • Adhering to organizational Change Control procedures when making any system modification.
  • The ability to write service tickets, change requests, and knowledge base articles with technical detail to ensure procedures followed within IT governance.
  • On-call responsibilities in rotating team schedule as required within the duties of the role.
  • Other duties that may also be required within the role requested by the Microsoft Manager.
