About The Position

The primary function of the Applications Developer/Analyst is to plan, design, develop and support custom web applications using standard development tools that support the initiatives of State Industrial Products. This position plays a critical role in the enhancements and support of key business applications

Requirements

  • College degree in IT, Computer Science or related discipline
  • 5+ years overall application development experience in an enterprise environment including C#/.NET Framework and MS SQL
  • Proficient using the following: C#/.NET Framework, JavaScript, HTML5, Rest/ SOAP/Data web services, SSRS/SSIS/T-SQL
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communications skills
  • Skills in problem analysis, determination, documentation and resolving key business issues
  • Solid understanding of available mobile application development environments and tools, device limitations and challenges, available communication infrastructures
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft tools, architectures and other development tools
  • Responsive / Adaptive / Touch UX design & development
  • JavaScript frameworks experience (AngularJS, JQuery, Vue)
  • SAP familiarity
  • Mobile development/support
  • UX design techniques

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of solutions in support of the business and systems strategy
  • Interact with business leaders and Information Technology teams to design, develop, test, deploy and evolve the business and systems strategy for State Industrial Products
  • Support existing applications on an as-needed basis
  • Create new applications for support business processes
  • Review / Assist in review of open business and development issues to determine proper application platform
  • Provide guidance relative to technical direction relative to corporate applications and systems as required
  • Delivering projects on time and on budget
  • Availability and reliability of critical systems
  • Providing applications that are used across the enterprise
