About The Position

E-Logic is seeking a skilled Microsoft 365 / SharePoint Administrato r to support the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) team for the County of Sacramento Department of Technology . This position will contribute to critical modernization initiatives, including Active Directory (AD) domain migrations, Kofax administration, and the migration of FileNet content to SharePoint Online . The ideal candidate will bring expertise in SharePoint Online administration , PowerShell scripting , and M365 governance , while collaborating across technical and business teams to deliver secure, efficient, and scalable solutions. The candidates should be available for an on-site interview, anticipated the week of November 17th at County of Sacramento's facilities. This position will be 3 days on-site and 2 days remote after training with a duration of 6 months, with possible extensions based on project needs and performance.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities with both technical and non-technical users.
  • Hands-on experience with SharePoint Online administration.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and advanced administration.
  • Experience managing content types, hub sites, custom site structures, and document management principles (retention, versioning, classification).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and Exchange Online integration.
  • Understanding of Azure AD, permissions models, and role-based access control.
  • Experience with M365 storage monitoring and scaling.
  • Experience with Kofax Capture administration.

Nice To Haves

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate or SharePoint Administrator Associate.
  • Experience with workflow automation and Graph API or PnP scripting.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Purview for compliance, retention, and data loss prevention policies.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Active Directory (AD) account and group migration between domains.
  • Administer Kofax Capture products, including configuration and desktop client installations.
  • Design, configure, and manage SharePoint Online environments, including site collections, hub sites, communication sites, and team sites.
  • Create and maintain content types, lists, libraries, templates, and PnP Searches to support document management processes.
  • Manage permissions, retention policies, metadata, and version control across document libraries.
  • Monitor and optimize SharePoint storage usage, requesting and configuring increases when necessary.
  • Implement and enforce governance and security best practices across M365 and SharePoint environments.
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation, reporting, and administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with business units to translate operational needs into technical SharePoint solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams integration issues.
  • Manage user access and role-based permissions across M365 services.
  • Coordinate with Microsoft and third-party vendors for escalated issues.
