Purpose of Job: Support all Microbiology laboratory release activities including but not limited to review of Sterility Testing, Environmental/Water/Bioburden monitoring, Particulate Matter Testing, Microbial Identification, Microbiology Investigations, and execute Special Projects as required. Assist with data compilation related to area trending. Assist Microbiology management to meet workload demands of the department. Serve in testing capacity as needed based on workload demands. Should be proficient in understanding of all Microbiology areas. Support data gathering during regulatory inspections. Provide coaching and training of junior technicians. Interacts with various facets of the organization including but not limited to operations, validation, chemistry, metrology and maintenance.
